Buy More Black Challenge: Day 1
Week 1: Making the Switch
This Week’s Goal: Learn the seven step process that will make it much easier for you to start buying more Black products and services.
Day 1: Make the Conscious Decision
Today’s Task: Make the conscious decision.
Making the decision to buy black products and services could be a difficult one for you. It’s both a conscious and financial commitment that must be made, but today we’re focused on the conscious decision.
Depending on your own philosophies around racial identity theory, you may feel it’s important to buy both Black-made and Black-owned products and services. If you’ve never thought about it, develop your philosophy on what buying Black means to you, for you. This doesn’t have to be anyone else’s decision, but your own.

Buying Black may not always be convenient or the cheaper choice and that’s why I’ve chosen to help you on your journey. I don’t expect you to switch every single product you own or every service you purchase to a Black made or Black owned company, but I do hope that you’ll be a more conscious buyer by the end of this 22 day challenge.
These next three weeks won’t be all butterflies and roses, so head on over to our Private Facebook Group for the difficult dialogue and some much needed support. We’re rising together!
